Hi, I'm Liam Kelly

I’m an artist based in Brooklyn making ceramics that are meant to be held, used, and enjoyed.

My work focuses on accessibility, functionality, and good design.

I believe that quality craftsmanship should be available to everyone, and this idea shapes both how I make and how I teach. I enjoy sharing what I know, collaborating with others, and helping build a ceramics community that’s welcoming, supportive, and full of creative energy.

The Work

Liam's Goods makes functional ceramics that earn their place on a table or a shelf. The work is playful without being precious, and designed with both hands and eyes in mind.

Made in Brooklyn

Each piece is hand-built, glazed, and fired in Liam's studio in Greenpoint.

Alongside the studio practice, Liam teaches and collaborates with other makers in Brooklyn to build a ceramics community that's as welcoming to beginners as it is to working artists.

Materials

Liam's Goods works primarily in stoneware, chosen for its durability and the way it takes glaze. All pieces are food-safe and dishwasher-friendly and are made to be used, not displayed.
